Tonight looks to be a busy one for directors at the Joshua Basin Water District with a special 5:30 p.m. closed session preceding the regular meeting. Reporter Mike Lipsitz has more on what to expect…
At tonight’s meeting of the Joshua Basin Water District, the agenda calls for approval a $3,000,000 loan agreement needed to jump start the district’s capital improvement program, re-approval of the district’s debt management policy, and authorization for write-off of $27,600 in bad debt.
And on the lighter side, the Morongo Basin Conservation Association will recognize the water district for contributions to the Desert Wise Landscaping Tour this past spring. Tonight’s meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. following a 5:30 p.m. closed session with legal counsel on anticipated or potential litigation. It all happens at the district offices on Chollita Road in Joshua Tree.
