At tonight’s meeting of the Joshua Basin Water District, the board is expected to review results from a Strategic Planning Workshop held last month, directors will also consider increasing the amount of guarantee deposits and tying future deposit increases to water rates. And among other business, the board will receive a presentation on four new development proposals and get an update on the district’s shop remodel. Prior to tonight’s 6:30 p.m. open session, the board will meet for a 5:15 closed session on potential litigation. Tonight’s business takes place at district offices on Chollita Road in Joshua Tree.
