The Joshua Basin Water District’s governing board met in special session yesterday evening. Reporter Mike Lipsitz summarizes the proceedings…
Directors at the Joshua Basin Water District received and filed the financial report for the third quarter ending March of 2020. Operations appear on track with end of third quarter revenues at approximately 74 percent of the annual forecast and expenses sitting at 61 percent of forecast. Those numbers reflected $2 million of revenue in excess of operating expenses thus far. The report also showed consumption down nearly 13 percent compared to the same period one year ago, a continuation of a trend seen over the last two years.
Following that report and others, the board adjourned to closed session on a matter of potential litigation.
