A new, comprehensive chapter on pandemic policy was added to the Joshua Basin Water District’s Employee Handbook at last night’s regular meeting. A section specific to the COVID-19 pandemic will be removed from the handbook when the state’s current “stay-at-home” directive is lifted.
In other business the board considered then approved a $24,000 software upgrade aimed at enhancing district security and communication at several district locations.
And lastly, the board approved formation of a COVID-19 Ad Hoc Committee.
