JOSHUA BASIN TO START ACCEPTING STATE WATER THURSDAY

After three years of planning, design, and construction, the Joshua Basin Water District recharge facility is finally ready to accept water from the Mojave Water Agency. The public is invited to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 3 p.m. Thursday, October 9, as the board of directors turns on the tap to the recharge facility. The ceremony will be held at 2400 Verbena Road, just east of the Quail Springs Apartments, in Joshua Tree.
