The Joshua Basin Water District Board of Directors will hold a virtual meeting at 6:30 p.m. tonight. The board will elect a new president and vice president; recognize Assistant General Manager Susan Greer on her retirement after 33 years of service to the water district; hear the results of its annual audit. In closed session it will discuss price and terms of payment for a property at the corner of Chollita Road and Sunset Road in Joshua Tree.

The Hi-Desert Water District Board of Directors will hold a fairly routine meeting tonight. The board will be asked to approve a contract for information technology services to Umetech for $99,400. That action will be followed by an update on the sewer project, and directors’ and managers’ reports. The meeting is online only, starting at 5 p.m.

All requirements of the Brown Act, requiring the physical presence of the Board, staff, or public, have been waived per Executive Order N-29-20. There is no public location for attending this meeting.
