Seems there are always a lot of irons in the fire at the Joshua Basin Water District; tonight’s busy agenda offers the evidence. Reporter Mike Lipsitz is here with agenda highlights…
When the Joshua Basin Water District board convenes on the Zoom platform at 6:30 p.m. this evening, the board is expected to approve a reserve funds transfer to pay for projects mostly in the 2019-20 fiscal year. Also tonight, directors will likely establish the 2020-2021 appropriation limit at $1.9 million.
The board will also consider approval of job descriptions for director of finance, and accounting supervisor.
And lastly, board attention will be directed toward a floorplan for a new customer service area at the district office and give the green light for putting the job out for bids.
Members of the public, who wish to comment on any item on the agenda, may email comments to Beverly Waszak at [email protected] two hours prior to the start of the meeting so the comments may be distributed to the Board of Directors. Written comments shall follow the three-minute prescribed time limit when read during the meeting and will become part of the Board meeting minutes.
