JOHNSON VALLEY WOMAN HOMELESS AFTER FIRE MONDAY MORNING

A Johnson Valley woman is homeless after a fire destroyed her home Monday morning. Firefighters from Yucca Mesa, Yucca Valley, Joshua Tree, and a Lucerne Valley water tender crew were called to the 5700 block of Desert Star Road at 7:39 a.m. where they found the house fully involved. The female occupant was not home at the time of the blaze. The fire was knocked down in just over 10 minutes. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
