JOHNSON VALLEY SHARED USE AREA TO BE OPEN IN AUGUST

0

The Marine Corps has announced that the Johnson Valley Shared Use Area will remain open to the public the entire month of August, and will not close as previously announced. The Marine Corps revised the scope of training scheduled for August and determined the closure was unnecessary. Training conducted during that time will occur within Combat Center boundaries, using ranges on the installation. Residents are reminded to respect base boundaries; individuals have a personal and legal responsibility to avoid trespassing on the Combat Center.
