There’s probably no better way to get into the spirit of fall than by attending Johnson Valley’s Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 3 at the Johnson Valley Community Center. The patio beer garden opens at 4:30 p.m. with craft beers, hard ciders, and complimentary fresh-baked Bavarian soft pretzels and German mustard. The buffet of German-style dishes opens from 6 to7 p.m. Admission is $7 in advance or $10 at the door. Call Betty Munson at 760-364-2646.
