A Johnson Valley man was arrested Sunday, accused of burglarizing his neighbor. According to a Sheriff’s report, a resident in the 51800 block of Cholla Road in Johnson Valley called deputies about3 p.m. Friday to report that someone had cut the lock on his driveway gate and entered his property. Then the burglar cut the lock on a storage unit and stole multiple items, including remote-controlled planes and cars, as well as video cameras and family photos. Evidence at the scene led deputies to get a search warrant to search a home in the 52300 block of Cholla Road where they found Shawn Queen, 51. During a search, deputies found the stolen property, valued at about $5,000, along with narcotics and the martial arts weapon, nunchuks. Shawn Queen was arrested for investigation of possession of stolen property and possession of nunchuks, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $25,000.
