If you need a welcoming place to attend Jewish High Holy Day services, the Jewish Federation of Palm Springs and the Desert Area invites you to Mission Lakes Country Club in Desert Hot Springs.
Services will be held there at 7 p.m. Wednesday, September 20, and 10 a.m. Thursday, September 21, for Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. Services for Yom Kippur are set for 7 p.m. Friday, September 29, and 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 30. Memorial Yizkor and concluding services start at 4 p.m. on Yom Kippur.
Admission is free for Jewish residents of the Morongo Basin and Desert Hot Springs, and includes a break-the-fast meal in the facility’s dining room following Yom Kippur.
