A Twentynine Palms woman, jealous because her boyfriend was being sent salacious photos by another woman, was arrested Sunday for vandalism. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies were called to the 72700 block of Larrea Avenue in Twentynine Palms about 3:30 p.m. because a car’s windshield had been smashed in overnight. The victim told deputies that she believed the suspect to be Emma Clinton, 24, because the victim’s daughter had sent Clinton’s boyfriend naked photos of herself, and Clinton was upset about the pictures. The deputy contacted Clinton in the 6700 block of Adobe Road, and Clinton allegedly admitted to swinging a baseball bat at the car’s windshield and throwing a large rock at it. Emma Clinton was arrested for investigation of felony vandalism, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with her bail set at $25,000.
