The Joshua Basin Water District has announced a special meeting for Monday December 16, at 5 pm. The Board of Directors will meet in closed session to discuss the appointment of a General Manager. That position has been vacant since Joe Guzetta resigned to become the City Manager in Twentynine Palms. A public report on the results of the closed session is scheduled to follow. The meeting takes place at Joshua Tree Community Center on Sunburst Avenue, not at water district headquarters.
