The 29 Palms Art Gallery will be offering classes for those who wish to learn the art of Japanese Sumi painting. Hiroko Momii, who is trained to use Sumi brushes, will instruct students on proper techniques, design, and aesthetics. These classes will be held on March 10, 17, and March 31 at the 29 Palms Art Gallery from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. The cost is $30, not including the $20 needed for materials, and pre-registration is required.
