JAMES WEBB CONVICTED IN HOME DEPOT RV STABBING MURDER

The man accused of the stabbing death of a man in his RV in the Home Depot parking lot in Yucca Valley nearly two years ago was convicted by a jury of first-degree murder Friday. James Webb, 36, killed John Rosin, 77, in the early morning hours of August 28, 2014, inside Rosin’s motorhome. Webb then fled but was captured by Sheriff’s deputies a few hours later in the Paradise Valley neighborhood of Yucca Valley. Jurors also found Webb guilty of using a deadly weapon during the commission of the murder. The trial, which was held in Joshua Tree Superior Court, lasted nearly three weeks. James Webb is set to be sentenced July 25.
