California holds the largest Poetry Out Loud competition, and Arts Connection is a proud local partner. Students interact with the words of the masters through recitation, building a relationship with the works, and creating a sense of shared ownership through a technique of volume, pitch, pace, and personal point of view. All high school-aged students are eligible for this free program. Winners go to the state finals in Sacramento in March 2022. All expenses paid.
