Sheriff’s deputies are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating a suspect involved in an armed robbery in Yucca Valley last week. On Thursday, January 3, a man entered the USA gas station at the corner of Sage Avenue and Highway 62 just before 3:30 a.m. The suspect told the clerk to empty the cash register, and then pulled out a gun from his pocket and brandished it at the clerk. The robber took an unknown amount of cash and left on foot, heading north on Sage Avenue. The suspect was described as Hispanic, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
