INVESTIGATOR SAY MAN USED HIS DOG IN A ROBBERY

Deputies are investigating a robbery in Yucca Valley Sunday in which the suspect tried to get his dog to attack the clerk. About 8:15 p.m., the unknown man left a store in the 55800 block of 29 Palms Highway with some beer. The clerk tried to take a photo of the suspect and the suspect tried to get his pit bull to attack the clerk. The suspect also broke the clerk’s phone. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
