Deputies are investigating a robbery in Yucca Valley Sunday in which the suspect tried to get his dog to attack the clerk. About 8:15 p.m., the unknown man left a store in the 55800 block of 29 Palms Highway with some beer. The clerk tried to take a photo of the suspect and the suspect tried to get his pit bull to attack the clerk. The suspect also broke the clerk’s phone.
