The Sheriff’s Department and Search and Rescue personnel are continuing investigations into the disappearance of Lauren Cho, a woman who went missing in Morongo Valley on June 28. In a recent update from the Sheriff’s Department, Sergeant Erik Smoot stated that Sheriff’s fixed wing aircraft conducted aerial searches for Cho last weekend (July 24-25) and that additional ground searches are scheduled with Search and Rescue teams. Additionally, detectives are still actively following up on leads and are in daily contact with Cho’s family, however there are no further details on the investigation at this time.
