INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED AFTER MOM AND ADULT SON FOUND DEAD IN YUCCA VALLEY HOME

A special investigation has been launched following the discovery of two bodies, a mother and her adult son, in a Yucca Valley home Sunday. According to a Sheriff’s press release, on April 10, deputies from the Morongo Basin Station responded to a medical aid call in the 7600 block of Lucerne Vista Avenue shortly before 10 a.m. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Leandra Tronolone, 62, and her disabled son, Jonathan Tronolone, 37, deceased inside their home. The cause and manner of death is pending the Coroner’s findings. Investigators with the Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division responded and are conducting the investigation. No further information is available at this time.
