INTERIM TWENTYNINE PALMS CITY MANGER GETS GOOD MARKS

The Twentynine Palms City Council conducted a public employee performance evaluation regarding Interim City Manager Andy Takata in its closed session Tuesday following the regular City Council meeting. A statement issued by the City, said after closed session a favorable evaluation had been agreed upon by all five council members. “We are pleased with his performance over the past two and a half months,” said Mayor Dan Mintz, “and we look forward to continuing a good working relationship with him over the next few months.” Takata has been with the City since June 2014 and is expected to remain in his interim position until February 2015.
