INJURIES REPORTED IN SATURDAY MORNING JOSHUA TREE CRASH

Four people were injured following a two-vehicle crash in Joshua Tree Saturday morning. According to CHP officer C. Miller, T.T. Ammal, 68, was driving her silver Toyota Camry southbound on Sunny Vista about 11:30 a.m. After stopping at Highway 62, she pulled out onto the highway to make a left turn to go eastbound. Miller said that Ammal did not see a tan Jaguar, driven westbound on the highway in the number 1 lane by Billie Horn, 76, also of Joshua Tree. Ammal’s Toyota was broadsided by Horn’s Jaguar. Horn and his two passengers were taken to Desert Regional Medical Center with complaints of pain; Ammal refused treatment at the scene.
