Emergency responders went in to Joshua Tree National Park Wednesday (December, 26) on two incidents that resulted in serious injuries. At about 1:30 pm Morongo Basin Ambulance personnel responded to a trauma call at the Hidden Valley Campground. After stabilizing the victim, who was not identified, the patient was taken to a trauma center. Later Wednesday, at about 4:30 pm, Morongo Basin Ambulance personal responded to a report of a fall victim on the Lost Horse trail in Joshua Tree National Park. The fall victim, also unidentified, was also stabilized and was transported by Medical Emergency helicopter to a trauma center.
