Sheriff’s investigators are asking for the public’s help after a robbery at the ATM outside a Twentynine Palms bank. Wednesday, (January 23), deputies responded to the US Bank Branch at 6325 Adobe Road, for a report of a robbery. At about 10:10 p.m., the unidentified victim was making a withdrawal from the drive-thru ATM, when two black males wearing hooded sweatshirts approached the victim’s vehicle. One suspect stole the cash the victim had just withdrawn and the second suspect stole a purse from the front passenger seat of the victim’s vehicle. The victim was able to drive away and flee from the location without being harmed.
