A Fort Wayne, Indiana police sergeant was arrested on the Twentynine Palms Marine base Thursday, accused of inappropriate conduct with a minor girl in Indiana. Andrew Beck, 47, is a reserve infantry officer captain with 1st Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, a reserve Marine Corps unit based in Buffalo, New York. Beck was training on the Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center when he was arrested about 4 p.m. Thursday by U.S. Marshals. Authorities say Beck had a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old student at the Indiana school where he serves as a part-time school resource officer. Charges against him include child seduction, providing obscene matter to minors, and possession of child pornography. Andrew Beck is being held in the West Valley Detention Center with no bail pending his extradition to Indiana.
