INDEPENDENCE DAY CLOSURES IN THE MORONGO BASIN

All government offices, banks, libraries, schools, and post offices will be closed Monday, July 5, in observance of Independence Day. Copper Mountain College will be closed as well and will resume its normal summer operating hours on Tuesday, July 6. Since Independence Day falls on a Sunday, there will be no Burrtec Waste service interruptions before or after the holiday. The Morongo Basin Transit Authority will NOT operate service on Sunday and will resume its regularly scheduled service on Monday. COVID-19 testing and vaccination sites throughout San Bernardino County will also be closed on Monday. County-operated testing and vaccination sites will reopen on Tuesday, July 6.
