4TH OF JULY FIREWORKS AND MORE AT LUCKIE PARK

Twentynine Palms 4th of July celebration at Luckie Park is more than just the fireworks display.  Reporter Rebecca Havely has all the plans for their fun-filled schedule…

Luckie Park is the place to be this 4th of July.  The swimming pool is open at 1 p.m. till 9:30.  Starting at 4 p.m. enjoy the bounce house, duck pluck, food venders, water slides for the little ones, a display of military vehicles, a raffle and live music.  For vendor booth info call the Chamber of Commerce at 760-367-3445.  The band Southbound performs live from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.  The grand finale firework show starts at 9 p.m. and is the largest display of fireworks in the Morongo Basin put on by Pyro Spectacular.  Everyone is welcome and admission is free.  Bring your blankets and lawn chairs, no pets or alcohol please.  The City of Twentynine Palms welcomes everyone to enjoy a great day of family, friends, fun and fireworks at Luckie Park.  For Z107.7 news this is reporter Rebecca Havely.

 

FREE FIREWORKS PARKING AT TWO MILE APOSTOLIC

If you’re going to the fireworks in Twentynine Palms, Two Mile Apostolic Tabernacle will open its parking lot to the public for the fireworks show. While parking is free, donations will be accepted. Two Mile Apostolic Tabernacle is located at 74301 Two Mile Road, on the corner of Two Mile and Wainright, next to Luckie Park.

JULY 4 FIREWORKS IN YUCCA VALLEY

For the other end of the Basin, reporter Mike Lipsitz tells what’s doing in Yucca Valley tomorrow night…

The Rotary Club of Yucca Valley is moving into high gear with plans for the July 4th fireworks and community fair.  Held at the Brehm Family Park at Little League Drive and  Palm Avenue in Yucca Valley, this year’s event will include a Kids Zone with Jump Houses for those under 13, a kid’s playground, face painting, plus three hours of entertainment on stage as well as the biggest vendor fair ever. Attendees are asked not to bring outside food or drinks into the park. The community fair begins at 6 p.m.. Sponsors include The Town of Yucca Valley, Southern California Edison, Burrtec Waste, G & L Realty, Pacific Western Bank, Z107.7 Radio and Hi Desert Publishing. INDEPENDENCE DAY BREAKFAST AT COPPER MOUNTAIN MESA

Start your Independence Weekend off right with breakfast on Saturday, July 4, at the Copper Mountain Mesa Community Center, located at 65336 Winters Rd in North Joshua Tree.  Your friendly Mesa neighbors will be serving their famous $5 breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m.

 

BEACH BOYS TRIBUTE BAND AT TORTOISE ROCK CASINO TONIGHT

Tortoise Rock Casino will be kicking off the 4th of July weekend tonight with a free concert by Woodie and the Long Boards. The Beach Boys tribute band will sing all of the Beach Boys hits like “Surfin’ U.S.A.,” “Good Vibrations,” “Help Me Ronda,” and more. All concerts are free, held on the outdoors stage, and start at 8 p.m.
