The Morongo Basin Youth Soccer Association will be holding its first in-person registration tomorrow (February 26) at the Yucca Valley John’s Place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Enrollment is $65 for new players, $60 for returning. Parents will need to provide a copy of each player’s birth certificate to complete registration. Practices begin the week of March 14th. Parents should expect for their children to attend practices twice a week, with games on Saturday. Detailed schedules will be determined in the coming weeks, once players are assigned to their coaches.
In-person registration comes on the heels of a successful week of online registrations. “Within the first few days we reached a quarter of the required registrations for Spring,” says President Adan Mendoza. “It’s taken a huge load off of our Registrar, Treasurer, and the board as a whole. We continue to strive for efficiency and convenience for our soccer families, volunteers and supporters.”
