The identities of those killed in the November 20 collision on Old Woman Springs Road have been released.
At 8:35 a.m., the California Highway Patrol reports that a Jeep Cherokee driving southbound on Old Woman Springs Road north of Olivine Road in Landers bypassed another vehicle over double yellow lines, colliding with a Kia traveling in the northbound lane. The CHP identified the driver of the Jeep as Josie Stijepovic, a 39-year-old female from Helendale, who suffered from major injuries.
The driver and passenger of the Kia were both killed, and have been identified as Anthony Parra, 36 of Twentynine Palms, and Alyssa Parra, 33 of Twentynine Palms.
