The Morongo Basin Humane Society Board and the staff of the Joshua Tree no-kill shelter are hosting an ice cream social featuring angel food cake and Coldstone Creamery ice cream to honor the Guardian Angel supporters. The social takes place on June 14 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Center for Healthy Generations, where Guardian Angels are invited as the guests, but everyone else is welcome to attend with a suggested $5 donation for non-Guardian Angels.
