HVCC MEETS TO DISCUSS GLAMPING SITE IN FLAMINGO HEIGHTS 

The Homestead Valley Community Council Board meets this afternoon (Monday April 18th) at 3PM in Yucca Mesa. The board will  be presenting their “Take Action Packet” to help people make comments on the “Glamping” proposal in Flamingo Heights, and comment on the project’s Mitigated Negative Declaration. Tom Murphy from Red Brennan Group will be the guest presenter on Measure Z FP-5 Fire Tax Repeal. President Jim Harvey said County Supervisor Dawn Rowe is expected to attend and update them on County matters. They will also have regular presentations by Fire and Law Enforcement services, Marine Base, as well as representatives from Assemblyman Smith, Senator Grove, and Congressman Obernolte.
