The Homestead Valley Community Council (HVCC) will meet today (November 15) at 3 p.m. at a different location than previously announced. Now meeting at Belfield Hall in Landers (58380 Reche Road), just east of the Landers Post Office, the HVCC will discuss “mailbox baseball”, following reports of mailboxes in the area being bashed and broken in the past week. Captain Luke Niles of the San Bernardino County Sheriff Department will be in attendance, along with Supervisor Dawn Rowe and the Yucca Valley Postmaster. Additionally, the HVCC will discuss redistricting and the Stagecoach Solar Project.
