The Homestead Valley Community Council (HVCC) will meet tomorrow (November 15) at 3 p.m. in the Flamingo Heights Community Center to discuss “mailbox baseball”, following reports of mailboxes in the area being bashed and broken in the past week. The HVCC is urging residents to file a report with the Sheriff station in Joshua Tree if their mailbox was bashed so that law enforcement can help. Captain Luke Niles of the San Bernardino County Sheriff Department will be in attendance, along with the Yucca Valley Postmaster. The Flamingo Heights Community Center is located at 55977 Perris Street in Yucca Valley. For more information, contact Judy Laffoon at 760-364-2931.
