HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION IN TWENTYNINE PALMS TOMORROW

Not sure what to do with your old batteries and used motor oil? A household hazardous waste collection event will be held at Twentynine Palms City Hall tomorrow, Saturday, October 27. Reporter Heather Clisby has the details…

Residents of Twentynine Palms, Yucca Valley and Morongo Basin are invited to participate in the household hazardous waste collection event on Saturday, October 27 at Twentynine Palms City Hall from 9 am to 1 pm. Residential identification will be required.

Accepted items include: paint products, anti-freeze, used motor oil and filters, car or household batteries, household cleaners, pesticides, fertilizers, medications, needles and fluorescent tubes. Electronic waste, such as printers, VCRs and microwave ovens, will also be accepted. Do not bring tires, furniture or air conditioners.

Twentynine Palms City Hall is located at 6136 Adobe Road in Twentynine Palms. For more information about this event, call 909-382-5401.
