The Hi-Desert Medical Center Board of Directors will meet in regular session tonight. Among the items on the agenda, the board will hear administrative reports; be asked to approve medical staff policies; hear a presentation on social services; and be asked to approve hydrants and air dryers at the hospital. The board will then go into closed session, at which it will discuss quality assurance matters and a personnel and benefits issue. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. in the Helen Gray Education Center on the hospital campus in Joshua Tree.
