The regular meeting of the Morongo Basin Healthcare District began with a presentation about the Split Rock Renovation Project and what it entails. The renovation will include all three suites on the property, bringing then up to standard for wheelchair access and providing resources for education—one-on-one counseling and family medicine. The vote was unanimous for taking the project to bid. the lowest bid will be sent to the district board for approval. The Capital Budget was also approved, which included the final payment on the mobile clinic, an estimate on the Split Rock project and paving and landscaping for the same. The total cost $838,845.00.
