The Hi-Desert Medical Center Board of Directors will hold a special meeting at 6:00 tonight. The board will be asked to change the existing committee meeting structure and hear a presentation on changes to the online board portal. The board will then go into closed session to negotiate price and terms of payment of the hospital’s 30-year lease to Tenet California, Inc. The meeting will be held in the Helen Gray Education Center boardroom on the hospital campus in Joshua Tree.
