The Morongo Basin Horsemen’s Association is having an open cattle sorting this weekend, open to all levels of horses and riders. There will be free entertainment for spectators, so bring a lawn chair. Spokesperson Kim Ortamond says many horses in the desert have never seen or been near cattle, so this will be lots of fun for riders and those watching.
