More than 200 students, parents, and art lovers attended the student art auction Tuesday night at Hope Academy in Yucca Valley. The silent auction of 120 student-created art pieces raised more than $2,000. A couple of artworks were part of a bidding war, and sold for more than $100 each. Proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward school programs. Hope Academy is a charter school located in the Town Center Mall.
