Twentynine Palms Junior High School counselor Jackie Brandt was among 14 participants from both San Bernardino and Riverside Counties who were selected as finalists for the California League of Middle Schools’ annual Educator of the Year Award. During the banquet ceremony, San Bernardino County Superintendent Ted Alejandre congratulated each of the nominees for the award. The recipients were honored for their educational excellence and for their efforts to implement effective elements of educational reform in middle schools.
