HOMICIDE DETECTIVES CALLED IN TO INVESTIGATE DISAPPEARANCE OF TWENTYNINE PALMS WOMAN

Still no word on the woman from Twentynine Palms who went missing Saturday morning. Sheriff’s officials confirmed that homicide detectives have been called in to investigate the disappearance of Erin Corwin, 19, who left home about 7 a.m. Saturday to look for a hiking trail in Joshua Tree National Park.

Corwin is three months pregnant. Her car, a blue 2013 Toyota Corolla, is also missing. The license plate number is 7CJX519. A possible sighting of Erin Corwin and her car was reported about 8 a.m. Saturday by Joshua Tree National Park rangers. Anyone with information about Erin Corwin should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
