HOMESTEAD VALLEY COUNCIL TO DISCUSS COMMERCIAL SOLAR MONDAY

The Homestead Valley Community Council plans to continue the discussion of large-scale, commercial solar projects at its next meeting, Monday, December 16. Dawn Rowe, an aide to Congressman Paul Cook, plans to be at the meeting and will be able to answer questions about the Johnson Valley Off-Highway Recreation Area. The Council will also discuss the unwritten policy that prohibits property owners from building if the owners rely on hauled water. The meeting will be held 3 p.m. Monday at the Johnson Valley Community Center, at the corner of Larrea and Quailbush Roads.
