HOMESTEAD VALLEY COMMUNITY COUNCIL TO MEET MONDAY

The Homestead Valley Community Council will hold its monthly meeting Monday, October 16. The council will receive an update on hauled water and Scenic Highway 247, along with a report on new solar project applications. The council represents the communities of Yucca Mesa, Landers, Flamingo Heights, and Johnson Valley. Representatives from the Sheriff’s Department, as well as County Fire and CalFire will be in attendance. The meeting starts at 3 p.m. at the Johnson Valley Community Center on Quailbush Road.
