HOMESTEAD VALLEY COMMUNITY COUNCIL TO MEET MONDAY

Among the items up for discussion at this month’s meeting of the Homestead Valley Community Council are the latest information on hauled water; progress on the campaign for designating State Route 247 a scenic highway; and whether off-highway vehicles are banned from county-maintained dirt roads. Residents from Yucca Mesa, Landers, Flamingo Heights, and Johnson Valley are encouraged to attend the meeting at 3 p.m. Monday, April 17, at the Yucca Mesa Community Center on Balsa Avenue, just off Aberdeen Road.
