The Homestead Valley Community Council will hold its monthly meeting Monday, November 20. The council represents the communities of Yucca Mesa, Landers, Flamingo Heights, and Johnson Valley. Representatives from the Sheriff’s Department, as well as County Fire and CalFire will be in attendance. An update will be given on the Landers Elementary School. The meeting starts at 3 p.m. at the Flamingo Heights Community Center on Perris Road, two blocks west of La Copine Restaurant.
