The final Homestead Valley community workshop will be the topic at today’s meeting of the Homestead Valley Community Council. Come find out what your neighbors consider the top four priorities that should be addressed in the county’s general plan, and how there is still time to present your views. Residents of Landers, Flamingo Heights, Yucca Mesa, Johnson Valley, Morongo Valley, and Pioneertown are encouraged to attend. The meeting will be held at 3 p.m. today, Monday, November 21, at the Flamingo Heights Community Center, just off Highway 247 behind La Copine Restaurant.
