HOMESTEAD VALLEY COMMUNITY COUNCIL MEETS MONDAY

At the next meeting of the Homestead Valley Community Council, the Council will provide updates on the shared use of the Johnson Valley Recreational Area by the public and the Marine Corps. Also on the agenda is the Council’s opposition to industrial-scale wind and solar projects, and the Council’s communications with the county about abandoned housing in neighborhoods. The Homestead Valley Community Council will meet at 3 p.m. Monday, May 19, at the Flamingo Heights Community Center on Perris Avenue, behind Hero Catering on Highway 247.
