The Homestead Valley Community Council resumes its monthly meetings Monday, July 20. County Supervisor Dawn Rowe, as well as representatives from the Sheriff’s Department, CHP, County Fire, and Calfire will also be in attendance. There will be lots of catching up on federal, state, and local issues facing the communities of Flamingo Heights, Landers, Yucca Mesa, and Johnson Valley.
The meeting begins at 3 p.m. in the Flamingo Heights Community Center, 55977 Perris Rd., two blocks west of La Copine Restaurant.
