The Homestead Valley Community Council will hold its monthly meeting 3 p.m. Monday, March 17, at the Yucca Mesa Community Center, 3133 Balsa Avenue, just off Aberdeen Road. Representatives from the fire department and Sheriff’s office usually make community reports and can answer questions. Residents from Johnson Valley, Flamingo Heights, Landers, and Yucca Valley are welcome to come and air their concerns.
